Canon Stepper Hard Drive

Q. Is there any new replacement hard drive for Canon Stepper FPA-2500 and below?

A. Yes, there is an alternative!

For FPA-2500 and below:

There are two hard drives, one is in the Console computer and the other one is in the Disk Unit (Control Rack).  The one in the Console computer has the Stepper software while the one in the Disk Unit has the programs for both Main and TV CPU.

Our CF (Compact Flash) drives which can be used as replacement units for the stepper hard drives. The new CF drives run a lot faster than traditional hard drives and are more reliable since there is no moving mechanism like traditional hard drives.
